Monroe Woodbury Youth Lacrosse, est. 2010. The goal of MWYL is the teach the youth of Monroe Woodbury the skills of Lacrosse as well as sportsmanship, pride and a good work ethic in order to grow the game and foster a sense of better citizenship.
The Monroe-Woodbury Youth Lacrosse's Player Development Lacrosse (PDL) program for Kindergarten to 2nd grade children, also now called as "Junior Lacrosse" is exclusively fun and skills based. Children are introduced to basic stick work and structured clinics in a supportive environment promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
Our coaches, being mostly fathers themselves, understand the level of beginner's teaching that our younger kids need.
We have the following programs offered for Junior Lacrosse -
Spring Lacrosse Season - includes practices and scrimmages held in April-June.
FREE Fall Clinics open to all - starts in September to late October
